Aged in French oak , and produced in small quantity, the "SERPINA" is named for the posts used to train vines as is recorded in Armenian agricultural history books. With the name "SERPINA" we honor Armenia's rich, ancient wine history. This YACOUBIAN-HOBBS Areni, Serpina is a complex wine with intense aromatics of ripe red cherries, black plum and dried flowers, followed by nuances of vanilla, cinnamon and chocolate. On the palate, the elegant flavors coupled with velvety tannins create a full, round mouthfeel with a complexity and intensity that lingers on the finish.
