A story of success of the architect of the Caucasian bourgeoisie, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Mikael Aramyants, as well as of failures in his private life.

Aramyants is a reliable fictional narration of the life of the genius entrepreneur and philanthropist Mikael Aramyants. The book acquaints the reader with the origin and development of Armenian business history, relationships between business elites, and, of course, with the new culture of bourgeois philanthropy which can be defined as an act of humanism towards those who need sympathy and support.

The novel Aramyants is the drama of one of the most famous entrepreneurs of the Russian Empire, a patron of Armenian, Tbilisian, and Baku’s intellectuals, and a great man.
