For the first time, Hovhannes Tumanyan’s ballads are published in full in a separate volume. They have been reprinted from the academic second edition of The Complete Works of Tumanyan.

The ballad is one of the leading and central genres in Tumanyan’s body of work. Throughout his literary journey, the poet showed a unique interest in folk traditions, creating unparalleled ballads that are considered classic examples of the genre—even by world literary standards.

The book was published with the support of the Lorva Dzor compatriotic union and Edit Print Publishing House.
