The book presents the letters of Hovhannes Tumanyan’s family members, addressed to the poet and to one another.

Correspondence was a family tradition in Tumanyan’s large household—a tradition initiated by Tumanyan himself.

The letters offer rich material on the warm relationships within the Tumanyan family, the atmosphere surrounding them, as well as events and personalities of their time. They also shed light on many aspects of Tumanyan’s life and work, recording his role and significance in the life of the Armenian people.

The book is intended for a broad readership.
